When you need reverse engineering
- The part is discontinued, but your equipment still needs it
- There are no drawings for old equipment, tooling or imported parts
- The part needs improving — reinforcing weak spots, changing the material or adapting it to a new assembly
- You need documentation for an existing product to restart production
- You need a copy of a part or a drawing made from a sample
How we work
- Sample. Bring us the part or its pieces — a broken part is fine.
- Scanning and measuring. We capture the exact geometry with a 3D scanner and measuring tools → 3D scanning
- CAD model. We build a parametric model, restoring planes, cylinders, holes and joints to the correct dimensions instead of simply copying the surface.
- Verification. We compare the model with the scan and show you the deviations.
- Manufacturing. Your choice — we print the part or hand the files over to your manufacturer.
What you get
- An editable CAD model in STEP format (other formats on request)
- An STL file for printing
- On request, a dimensioned 2D drawing
- A finished part in a suitable material → 3D printing
Confidentiality and rights
Your samples, files and models are never shared with third parties; on request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). By ordering a copy of a part, you confirm that you have the right to do so.
Price
The price depends on the part’s complexity and the required accuracy and is calculated individually. We send a quote within one working day of receiving photos or the sample. → Prices and ordering
